Borla S-Type Cat-back Stainless Steel Tips FRS / BRZ / 86 - 140496

I am happy to be the first one on Fteightysix to review the Borla catback. I had done a lot of research on different catbacks for my FRS prior to my purchase and I ended up with Borla. Delivery was quick and painless, once I got the exhaust I could literally not wait to have it installed. The material quality and fitment of the exhaust is beautiful. The huge 4.5 Borla tips really fill out the spaces for the exhaust so much better than the stock tips. The sound you get from this catback is everything I expected and more. When just cruising the exhaust is deep but subtle. Once you step on it this thing really screams. At 4500 to 5000 rpm you get this little burble and pop sound which gets the hair standing up on my arms. Basically I now feel like I am driving a real sports car, and I find myself just leaving my house to do a lot more pleasure cruises around town and up 101. I could not be happier with this exhaust, feels like I just got the car and am driving it for the first time again... I get a lot of thumbs up and people asking me what kind of exhaust it is... As for gains.. I have not done a dyno but after the first couple of days since install, I without a doubt feel an increase in quickness, partially around 4500-4700 rpm. The K&N drop in filter really compliments the exhaust note as well...  Borla is a renowned name in exhaust and they do not disappoint with this one.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !
